The Opportunity
Two jobs.
One event.
Most organizers try to run both. GN separates them.
Sponsor Acquisition Event Production Revenue Management Post-Event Analytics
The Core Problem

Running a great event and closing sponsors are two full-time jobs.

Most organizers try to do both. One always suffers.

Producing a high-quality event requires your complete attention — venue logistics, talent coordination, audience experience, and day-of execution. Closing sponsors requires a completely different skill set: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and managing relationships on behalf of your brand. Splitting your focus between these two jobs means neither gets done well.

The result is predictable. Events are underfunded because the organizer ran out of time to close sponsors. Sponsors are under-activated because no one had bandwidth to manage their experience on the floor. And the post-event data that would make both relationships stronger never gets documented.

Genius Networks eliminates this conflict. We run the sponsorship program. You run the event. Both get done at the level they deserve.

GN Prospects and Closes Sponsors

GN Manages and Protects the Funds
All sponsorship funds flow through GN. Committed dollars are tracked, held, and deployed according to each sponsor's activation agreement — before release to you.
GN Documents and Reports Everything
Every sponsor receives an Impact Report within 14 days. You receive the same. This is the proof that makes sponsors renew and clients refer.

The GN Advantage

An active community is worth more than a paid media budget.

Here is what GN brings to your event that no marketing spend can replicate.

Standard event marketing in Atlanta follows a predictable funnel: pay $5 to $15 per thousand impressions, hope 0.5% to 1.5% click through, convert 2% to 5% of visitors into buyers. At 100,000 paid impressions you can expect roughly 35 ticket sales. The GN community model changes every number in that funnel — because the audience already knows and trusts the platform that is putting your event in front of them.

Compensation Framework

Every engagement is negotiated. Every agreement is documented.

GN does not use a fixed take rate. We use a hybrid model tailored to your event profile.

Before a single sponsor is contacted, GN and the event organizer agree in writing on the compensation structure. The final plan is documented in the GN Agency Agreement and signed by both parties. Nothing is assumed, nothing is verbal, and the sponsorship window does not open until the agreement is executed.

Model A
Commission Only
15–30%
of gross sponsorship revenue raised on your behalf
Model B
Flat Fee + Commission
$1.5K–$10K
flat fee plus 10–15% commission — gives you cost certainty
Model C
Tiered Commission
15–30%
rate scales by sponsor tier — higher tier, higher GN commission

Standard starting position for most GN engagements: 20% to 25% commission on gross sponsorship revenue, with a minimum engagement fee of $500 credited against the commission when sponsors close. We discuss, we negotiate, we document, and we deliver.

Engagement Process

What happens after you say yes.

Every GN engagement follows the same four-step process — transparent at every stage.

01
Discovery Conversation
GN listens first. We learn your event goals, budget, audience, and existing relationships before recommending any compensation model or sponsor target. This conversation determines the strategy — not the other way around.
02
GN Agency Agreement — Signed Before Outreach Begins
The compensation model, commission rates, fund management protocol, and activation obligations are documented in writing and signed by both parties. The sponsorship window does not open until this agreement is executed. No exceptions.
03
GN Runs the Sponsorship Program
GN prospects, pitches, closes, and manages every sponsor relationship. You approve the prospectus. You stay informed. You do not manage a single sponsor conversation — that is GN's job for the duration of the engagement.
04
Event Day, Activation, and Impact Report
GN coordinates every sponsor activation on the event floor. Within 14 days of the event, every sponsor and the organizer receive the full Impact Report. Your revenue share is disbursed according to the signed agreement — no guesswork, no delays.

Client Discovery Questions

Four categories. Sixteen questions. One strategy.

GN does not conduct a survey. These questions build the sponsorship brief that determines which sponsors to pursue and how to pitch them on your behalf.

Category 1 — Vision & Purpose
01Tell me about your event. What is its name, concept, and who is it really for?
02What does a successful event look and feel like to you — not just on paper, but in the room?
03What motivates you to keep producing events? What is the deeper reason behind this one?
04What would make this event different from everything else happening in Atlanta right now?
Category 2 — History & Experience
05Have you produced events before? What has worked well and what has not?
06What has been your biggest challenge in past events — and is that challenge present in this one?
07Have you worked with sponsors before? If so, how did those relationships go?
08What do you wish you had known before your last event that you know now?
Category 3 — Operational Reality
09What is the event's total projected budget — including production, venue, marketing, and talent?
10What is your expected attendance, and what does the ticket revenue model look like?
11Who are your strongest existing relationships in Atlanta — vendors, venues, media, or community organizations?
12Do you have existing sponsor relationships, or is GN starting from a cold list?
Category 4 — Goals & Priorities
13What is your primary goal — revenue generation, brand building, community engagement, product placement, or something else?
14If you could only achieve one thing from this event, what would it be?
15What does the audience you are trying to reach look like — demographically, professionally, and culturally?
16What would make a sponsor feel like a genuine partner to you — not just a transaction?
The Most Important Question

The Synergy Bridge Question

Asked at the end of every client discovery conversation. The answer becomes the creative brief for sponsor outreach.

The Question GN Always Closes With
"If we could bring one brand into this event that would make both your audience and your event better — not just financially, but experientially — what kind of brand would that be? What would they do in the room that would make people say 'that belongs here'?"
The answer to this question tells GN which sponsor categories to pursue, how to frame the opportunity, and which tier is likely the right fit — before the first sponsor conversation begins. It is not a hypothetical. It is the brief.

The synergy between what you need and what the right sponsor wants to accomplish is almost always there. GN's job is to find it, name it, and put both parties in the same room so neither has to explain it twice.

Ready When You Are
Let's build
something funded.

The GN Agency Agreement takes one conversation to scope and one signature to execute. From that moment, GN runs the sponsorship program and you run the event — exactly as it should be.
